When we feel that we are not living our life to its fullest potential, and we ignore the nudges, our mind/body will eventually scream at us, forcing us to wake up to the fact that something is not right.

I believe that everything ‘out there’ in your world is a manifestation of what is going on inside you.

We are all the product of our experiences and these have formed our beliefs.  Some of these beliefs are positive and serve us well.  Others are very limiting and prevent us from moving forward and living the life of our dreams.

To give you an example:  One person’s belief could be “People are lovely.  Everywhere I go, people are always pleasant and helpful towards me.”  And, generally, that will be that person’s day-to-day experience of life.

On the other hand, another person’s belief might be, “People are a complete nightmare.  Everywhere I go, they are rude and obnoxious and generally ruin my day.”  Sure enough, for them, generally, that will be how it is.

 

Do any of these sound familiar to you?

  • Losing someone I love

These fears will have one or more limiting beliefs behind them.

And these are holding you back and preventing you from being your best you.

Now, these limiting beliefs can be changed, but you need a technique that works!

Many people talk about using positive thinking and/or affirmations.  These techniques have their place, but for most people I’ve spoken to, they have not worked for them.  I’d like to offer a reason for this:  I’ll bet that the first time you tried using a positive affirmation to change the way you were feeling, you felt a bit of a fraud.  Like your subconscious was saying to you, “Yeah, right”.  This is the enormous power that limiting beliefs have over us.  Until we change that underlying, limiting belief, all the positive self-talk in the world will make very little, if any difference.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) or Tapping enables us to quickly loosen the hold a limiting belief has over us.  We are then able to introduce more positive, helpful beliefs.  Importantly, these changes last.

I have personally been using EFT to make changes in my own life for around 10 years now and the results have been astounding.

I have been an AAMET International Certified EFT Practitioner since June 2010 and have seen similar, amazing results for my clients.
